This course covers safety in a manufacturing enviroment! Students work on projects that improve the safety in the workplace. The course involves internet research and research papers.

This course covers workplace environmental health and safety concepts. Emphasis is placed on managing the implementation and enforcement of environmental health and safety regulations and on preventing accidents, injuries, and illnesses. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts of environmental health and safety.

This course introduces quality concepts and techniques used in industry.  Topics include elementary statistics and probability, process control, process capability, and quailty improvement tools.  Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the concepts and principles of quality and apply them to the work environment.
